About WattleWager

We are a small team of Australian sports fans and researchers helping punters compare licensed bookmakers with clear, honest information.

Our Mission

WattleWager exists to make it easier for Australian adults to understand the betting sites available to them. We focus on facts that matter: who holds a valid licence, how quickly withdrawals land, what the fine print on promotions actually says and how well each operator supports safer gambling.

How We Work

Every bookmaker we feature is assessed against the same six criteria: licensing and compliance, banking options, promotional transparency, customer support, mobile experience and responsible gambling tools. Where possible we open real accounts, test deposits and withdrawals, and contact support to see how they respond.

Reviews are revisited regularly, and the date at the bottom of every page shows when the site was last updated.

Only Licensed Operators

We only list wagering providers that hold a current licence from an Australian state or territory regulator. We do not promote offshore or unlicensed operators, or any online casino products that are illegal to offer in Australia.

How We Are Funded

WattleWager is free to use. We may receive a referral commission when a reader signs up with a bookmaker through a link on our site. These partnerships never decide a bookmaker's rating or whether it appears on the site, and sponsored placements are always labelled.

Our Commitment to Safer Gambling

Gambling is for adults aged 18 and over, and it should always stay a form of entertainment. Every page on WattleWager links to free Australian support services, and our Responsible Gambling page explains the tools available to help you stay in control.
